Our stainless steel flatware is made overseas in India
and China, but we finish the product here which includes buffing, inspecting
and packaging. We are currently looking
at production in the US for possible 'Elite' lines of Knork because we
understand customers want to buy USA made products wherever possible. Right now only one manufacturer in the USA
produces flatware but it is stamped which is not the manufacturing process we
use to make our line of flatware because we couldn't make the finger platform,
rounded tines or the ergonomically, designed contoured handle.

The unique design of KNORK Flatware utensils are patented
and create balanced and stable utensils designed to complement how you
naturally eat. The strength, weight, and
sturdiness that KNORK items possess can be mainly attributed to the hand
forging process, and not the stainless steel composition of the pieces. KNORK
flatware is made from a single bar of stainless steel, and our multi-step hand
forging process creates a quality piece of flatware that is overall heavier and
more solid than a stamped flatware product.
All KNORK products have an 18% chromium content and have passed rigorous
corrosion and quality assurance tests and exceed our high manufacturing
standards.
