I was gone all day yesterday, so just seeing all of this mess. Yep, had many problems with the iPad app for many months. Now all seems to be fine, other than the headache of only being able to see 4 pics at a time, so go figure it is their web site. It is Sat. evening, so hoping all the bugs have been corrected. Guess they need to get their act together, but not holding my breath. Good job, Rred.

It is happening to me on my web version. It just happened to me again. LOL

I haven't even tried the ipad yet. On my phone app, Andriod version, things seem fine, but I much prefer the full function web.

Emily, there needs to be better tech support on weekends. These problems crashed my iPad. This has been going on for 3days . Aussies, US and a Canadian.

haha Chook, my macbook just crashed! I had to do a hard restart. I had 6 Houzz windows open, and nothing else.

I rebooted the iPad 20 times on the weekend.

Mark is in Canada, and suddenly all his comments going back days, disappeared from zaz 's thread (US). The replicating of comments is making all the threads longer, some disappear then reappear in different places. People are getting their name on comments when their not responsible, eg this woman new user isn't in the yearbook, I don't know her

Thanks for looking at this. I know it is effecting at least a few others who I regularly chat with. Who knows how many others are experiencing it?

I am using Firefox 41.0.2 and it was updated recently. The update and the odd behavior on the forum may be related, as the update was automatically made before last weekend, when this started happening to me.

Soccerates has had comments posted with her name that weren't her comments.

She also had a funny message that wouldn't let her browse anything on Houzz on her ipad. My ipad is dead battery, or I'd play with that too and see what happens to me.

I found a screenshot of Soccer's message pop-up that froze her screen...

One other thing. I can go back and edit a comment (fix a typo) and hitting submit after an EDIT keeps the comment in the right place. No thread bouncing around then... Only when you hit submit the first time on a comment.

Here is the thread with the mystery linlac comment that doesn't relate to anything. Reminds me of the Russian guy repeating people's comments all over Houzz in random places, was malware I think

My comments are loading slower each day. Not as slow on ideabooks, up to 3or4 mins on longer threads. Then they, and I land in the middle of the thread, along with the comment before mine. I scroll down, and check my answer at the bottom. Happens on both US site and Aussie site. Yesterday, couldn't post pics anywhere, including no screenshots to support. Couldn't copy paste. A yearbook writer also reported they couldn't copy paste their article, the last 3days, to ideabook.

Yesterday I tried to go to advice on UK site, it would only display US advice feed.

Good news on the repeat posts. The fix should go out sometime today. Thanks for your patience!

I was able to post a new thread earlier with a link and pics. That was ok, except for the random repeats.

Ok prob not fixed. Just posted to Toatsmcgoats thread, 2000+ comments, it was short, but took 3.5 mins to load. Then it and her comment before it landed in the middle of the thread. I scrolled down to the bottom, they were both there. IE status quo for the last three days.

Just wanted to add that the comment problem is not happening on my IPad. Thanks Emily for the help.

SEE THAT "m=3"??? I deleted that part, and then the thread let me post without it repeating everything, or taking me to another spot in the thread. Maybe manually removing that thing in the address of threads will stop the craziness?

Strange. One thing the support email asked me to do was to clear the cache and browsing history on my browser...this is for the web version... but you're using an Ipad? Are you using an App or are you using the Web? Try using the web after you clear the cache and history...I did that AND I messed around with the URL to remove that m=23 thing

I don't have a desktop or other to download into first. Can't clear all the YB stuffs. And her photos :)

Tried to save a photo from a Houzz article to Adult Daughters Ideabook, it would not let me access any ideabook but chookchook2 s ideas, so I clicked on the photo, went to the page and selected another photo, same thing happened again. I'm on website. Houzzers can't help on discussions if they can't save Houzz pics to diff ideabooks.
