Extra long kitchen counters

I have a VERY large kitchen - two 12' long counters that meet to form an "L". There is a 4.5x7' long island and two buffets with 86" and 74" long countertops. I have two additional sections connected to the main "L" that hang over into other rooms to create a bar in the living room and a bar counter.

We currently have have corian which cracked the other week. I have never loved the color and have always wanted to replace. Now that I'm looking at replacement materials, I'm struggling. It does not seem like granite is an option for our "L" because even if we got two book matched slabs, I don't know how we can get that kind of area.

i love the idea of butcher block, but having it around the sink area scares me.

In addition to all of this, I have a craft room off of the kitchen finished in all of the same products as the kitchen- flooring, countertops, and cabinets. Budget is important because there are a lot of countertops to cover here!

Any thoughts? I really prefer natural materials and low maintenance is important as I have young kids. Thanks!
