Not sure what the interior sensors are but will def look into that. I raised the closing tension settings to the max and it's seems to have fixed it after a few tests. Thanks!

Edit: just looked up the interupt sensors and these are OK. Lights on sensors are full and bright. Also cleared all spiderwebs etc from the lens.

Ok just did a random test and the problem is still happening. Help!

First thing to try every time (before messing with opener controls): how well does the door open and close without the opener latched in? When you say you've raised the tension to the max you are probably dealing with the symptom rather than with the problem. If the door won't open and close by a child's hand, an opener will die a little bit every time it horses that door closed.

It opens effortlessly without the opener latch connected. When I let the latch run without the door engaged, the same symptoms occur.

Found out something new the other day....it appears that when the symptoms start, all power to that entire garage door goes out. The lamp, the sensors...everything goes out and comes back on after a few seconds. Not sure if this helps, but wanted to include this detail.
