    Hi @User & @debs10. This is a natural based material, ledge stone. So admittedly it would be difficult to clean perfectly, however it's durable so you could use any degreaser to keep it fresh. Additionally, this materials was sealed so it wouldn't stain or absorb any of the grease you may experience in normal use.
