Obvious answer: Yes it will stand out. Not sure about resale value. Some buyers might want something that doesn't look the same as the rest but some might not want to stand out.

FYI, the correct term is lap siding style, there are various products to achieve that look, not always vinyl.

I get a little nervous when I hear three elements for an exterior: Brick, Stone, Stucco. Sometimes that turns out looking like a blockhouse.

If you're talking about Toll Brothers, they are NOT a quality builder. I would look elsewhere.

Like chisue said, stucco/brick or stucco/stone sounds nice, but stucco/brick/stone sounds wrong.

chisue: sorry i dont think i was clear, i meant two elements at one time i.e: stucco/brick OR stucco/stone.. agree that all three would look very strange. :)

mama rachel-thats a great point-not to overbuild for neighbourhood.....we will keep that in mind.
