Dear Autumn. This is a gorgeous onyx stone countertop. Onyx is truly translucent - as you can see the lights underneath it. The bar construction underneath, including the material it was constructed out of, was not provided by Stoneworks or Designer Cabinets...I apologize I cannot help answer the great question you have about what it is made of.
