Hi Blake, thanks for your question! There is certainly a lot of Bar/Counter confusion in the furniture world- glad you asked! The Grand Metal Counter Chairs are, in fact, counter height (same as kitchen counter, kitchen sink). Bar height is a few inches higher than this and would accommodate any size ABOVE the kitchen counter height.

But, yes, these are counter height!
