Need help with Breakfast Area.
We recently bought a house and renovated the kitchen. I can't decide what breakfast-dinning set I need for the space. Round or rectangle table? From the island to the window is 6'75" and from the pantry to the wall is 8'83". Kitchen cabinets are white, granite is white ice, walls are raffia cream and floor is honey oak. We prefer a white set but we are not sure. Thank you in advance.

PRO11 years agoWe love the round table idea, although we agree with 12/12 Architects that a banquette seating arrangement may be more suited for this space. Too much furniture might crowd the room and make it seem smaller than it is. Gorgeous photos above, almost looks like your new space!

It may not hurt to borrow an easily transferrable table and some chairs from friends/relatives to see the space before you buy your own. It will help visualize what you like (dining chairs, stools, round vs rectangular, etc.)

11 years agoI would go with round or even a rectangular shape with the corners cut to mimic the shape of the bay.
