Hi Everyone:

I have a great dining table and set of antique chairs, BUT, the table is about one inch too tall, and the chairs about 2 inches too low leading to an obviously uncomfortable seating position. Any ideas how I can easily adjust either? I've considered adding a feather pillow to the chairs but I don't want to make them difficult to slide onto. The chairs are French antiques, so any modification has to be tasteful. I'd rather modify the table.
