We looked hard at Thermador before going with another brand. I have to say I really like the product. The Thermador range has a nice burner, good specs and seems like a quality piece of equipment. They had a promotion recently for a free dish machine with a range that made the price attractive as well. I have my doubts about 600 CFM over a 36" range though. I went with a 600CFM Vent-a-hood and while it works for the cook top I think it's a little weak and struggles for any oven odors as our range vents out the bottom front of the unit. In our case we were restricted to a 6" pipe so the options were limited. If you can run a 8-10" pipe I'd opt for closer to 1,000 CFM. Best of luck on the new Kitchen!!

I am glad to see this as we are considering the same rangetop (also looking at the freedom induction cooktop) and the single version of the oven.

What type of cooking do you do? How do you use your oven? Are there some that you looked at and decided against for some reason?

Did you end up buying the above rage and hood? I'm considering the same Thermador range and our appliance dealer recommended the Luxair hood, same as yours. It would a huge help if you could share your experience on these appliances. Thank you.
