All the pros and very talented non pro people on this site always recommend floor and table lighting for a LR for a softer feel as opposed to ceiling lights. I have an arc lamp (Better Homes and Gardens from Walmart) and 8' ceilings and it looks fine. I think you would still need table lamps thought to adequately illuminate your room.

Personal observation is that the sectional is casual and the chandelier formal. I don't think the chandelier will provide much light. The size of the arc looks like whether you place it in right or left corner of the double window it is going to light the coffee table. Again serving no purpose. I would remove a section or 2 of the sectional (right now it takes up too much of the room) and place tables at each end with lamps. I would also pull it away from the wall with double window so that you can hang panels on the window.

I would suggest an arc lamp.

I've never seen a chandelier over a coffee table.

We have a chandelier in our living room, but it's quite a bit more formal than your room. I would recommend the arc lamp.
