Small fruit, great production, disease resistant. It has this distinctive flavor that I use in cooking acting like a spice. I cannot reproduce this flavor without those tomatoes!! Even my ten year old sons asks specifically for this tomato in home made goulash.

It is distinctively awesome when used in beef-flavored dishes, but is too strong to use solely as paste such as with chili and spaghetti. Very bold flavor for such a little guy.

Ace 55 Great all-around home grown tomato flavor for cooking or raw. Smaller fruits but abundant production. Disease resistant. Very reliable.

For me, THE BEST OF THE BEST OF THE BEST is Brandywine.

Taste is outstanding, but the production is... modest (ime.)

Brandy Boy has excellent taste and very good production.

I have a feeling that next year, some color tomatoes, will be strong competitors to Brandywine (in the taste field.)

My best hybrid has been Big Beef (by far).

My best heirloom this year was Brandywine Cowlick's. The taste was awesome and it was quite productive, too!

PS Sey...if you have 3-4 Black from Tula seeds to spare...I have quite a few different seeds to trade. Ed
