i cant think of any cons for my quartz

my island is honed black granite. the honed surface makes it more difficult to clean as you need to buff it dry so it doesnt show sponge marks. but the honed surface also makes it much less refective/glarey. absolute black is a very close grained stone so it needs no sealing.

Go with what you love. I've had granite in my kitchen for 15 years and have never sealed and still looks good. Just installed granite in basement bar. We prefer granite but everyone has their preference. Good luck with your choice.... Either will look fabulous.
