Sunrise Home Office
Our client spends a lot of time working in his home office and yet it wasn't really working for him. It took some convincing but he finally agreed to let us paint the ceiling blue-gray and install custom draperies. By reconfiguring the layout, we were able to fit in two new comfy leather wingback chairs and a large custom cowhide patchwork rug. The striking new light fixture draws the eye upwards and accentuates the great ceiling and windows.

Thank you for your comments. The computers were relocated behind the desk in a custom work space - see new photo. Now our client can sit and take in the beautiful view from his desk versus staring at an interior wall and office door. Re the area rug, this was perfect for our client as he is from Western Canada and there is a deer head on one of the upper walls. This custom cow hide rug ties in with the leather chairs and adds an eclectic touch and personal nod to our client's heritage. (Side note, we aim to please our clients and whether someone on Houzz likes or dislike something is not relevant, useful or appropriate in these particular threads in my opinion, especially when it is the only comment made).
