Need help choosing the right colors for a studio room

I am moving in to a studio type room in less than a week and I can't start ordering furniture and rugs and electrical appliances as I'm not sure what color I should buy..

I love blue so I would love to have it as my dominant color, however I don't know what color of the furniture (and if I should buy wood or plastic or metal) that will go well with the color of my wall (white) and floor.

I have a photo below to show the current room and another one that I simulate with the basic stuff that I need (Bed, Desk, small table, TV rack)

Any tips or advice would be very helpful!

I like the colour that the walls are now. You can accessorize with the blue that you like.

You have a lot of wood on the floor, so I would consider keeping the furniture white (or at least light) to create a feeling of space and add some contrast. You also need lots of texture to break up the hard lines - a rug (which will also add character), throw, cushions and perhaps a sheepskin? I would also consider a day-bed so that you have the option of sofa/bed. During the day it would feel less like a bedroom.

Why don't you search 'Scandinavian studios' for inspiration?Where they introduce accent colors, you would add blue or grey. With an inspiration photo, you could check out IKEA for some key furniture. Since Scandinavian is eclectic with wood, modern and light industrial- it's hard to make a mistake.
