I'm not a fan of sectional sofas because they don't allow much opportunity to rearrange the furniture. Instead you could consider a sofa and an attractive recliner. I liike the Pavia leather recliner from Macy's. http://www1.macys.com/shop/product/pavia-leather-club-recliner-chair?ID=281645

I also am not a fan of sectionals. They will limit the arrangement of the space. If you want to send photos of the room or the layout with dimensions, we can better help you find the best furniture positions. They make some attractive recliners now that don't look like a Volkswagen. Better to do a sofa, recliner and another chair.

That's a pretty large room. To help you arrange it we would need a drawing with all dimensions shown, including doors and windows.

Because of the 23.5' length of the room, you will need to have two distinct seating areas. The one at the bottom two-thirds of plan will be based on fireplace and TV watching, and the top one-third of the plan will be devoted to a different use.

The upper third would make a nice reading area with bookcases along the wall that backs up to the kitchen and the adjacent wall, and a chair and ottoman. Or you could put a game table and chairs in that area, or a desk and bookshelves.

In the bottom third, I'd place a sofa facing the windows, set out from the wall by 2 or 3'. Facing the TV which will be on the bottom wall, would be 2 chairs with a round table between them. A bench would go in front of the fireplace, and a coffee table in front of the sofa.
