Picked a handful of current tomatoes today, some ripe and some blushing. They are a tiny bite of goodness. This plant is in a pot on my deck.

Removed all the other plants from the garden in September when a freeze warning was issued. Still no freeze. Only a few green tomatoes left to ripen from the close to 80 green tomatoes picked. The others were eaten during the last two months or made into soup or oven dried tomatoes as they ripened.

I will miss the fresh home garden taste until next summer.
