Help with turning kitchen into a modern look.

What should I do with these 1990 golden honey oak cabinets? Paint them white or brown? Also want to put in new modern flooring. Want to keep countertop and backsplash and stainless steel appliances and cabinet handles. Sorry could not get rid of the cat picture!

We painted white at one of our customers and it turned out great. Check this. These cabinets were originally oak. Check our page for before and after. Hope it helps

How about white AND brown! The kitchen below was Oak - we fauxed the bases to look like walnut - painted he rest white. Know that you will see the cells of the oak wood grain in the sheen of the paint. If you are an engineer or accountant don't go that way!
