Love soapstone backsplash (behind stove) - wondering how thick it is?

Does that backsplash need any special installation? Imagine that it is pretty heavy. Thanks!

    Slabs usually come in 2 and 3cm. I would guess thats the same thickness as the counters, 3cm. Full backsplash shouldn't be a problem for any decent fabricator. It requires a bit of extra measuring once the decks (horizontal counters) are in, but otherwise not a big deal, especially for a simple piece like that.
