That answered it, though I'm not an expert... seems if paint isn't chipping, etc. maybe you could easily paint over a color from the slate / charleee said black though that is dark with lots of contrast.

Is that tenant's furniture too? What color is yours then?

Seems there are beachy tiles which could blend your look with style of your house... crash secondhand plates or tiles and install in a tray...

or add burnt orange to teal - are you fortunate enough to have terra cotta roof?

I could not live with that. Stucco can be put on with a smooth finish. I would find a plaster person and have them look at it. It would be so nice with a texture like the Spanish missions have. Then I would add a mantel over the one they have.
