I would lighten it up with accessories. A light colored pillow on the dark chair and a large light colored tray on the coffee table. You could fill the tray with your shells and add candles etc.

Dark furniture in a beach condo surprises me! I thought everyone did light colors and wicker!

I guess I was going for a West Indies look. White couches with dark brown. I do have a lot of shell accents in bowls and beach pictures. Sailboats etc. appreciate all input. Dark furniture has to stay paid a lot for....restoration hardware . Keep suggestions coming!!! Thank you!!!!

Hope I didn't come off wrong. Texting is so hard I really appreciate your comments and I am taking all into consideration. I am really stressing I wanted to come out right because it's so expensive to remodel!!!! What do you think about the white cabinets versus espresso to match the furniture????

White cabinets work with everything, IMO.

The white cabinets you already have look fine. I suggest you use new white cabinets, too. If the interior design choices are giving you sleepless nights, you could hire an interior designer whose work you like.

Please please Keeeeeep the White cabinets!!!!!!!! Maybe add some new hardware as it does look a little bit dated and potential light backsplash tie that in with the accessories on the coffee table and that could look really nice ! Much cheaper too!

Keep the cabinets white and update with bronze hardware.

I believe you need the white tile to contrast from the dark furniture. Instead of painting the coffee table, you could put a white or light-colored table scarf or cloth on it. You could add some light blue accessories throughout to bring in another light color and add to the "beach" theme.

For beach condos I like an ecclectic look, not everything matching. I would consider a light bright space, and keep your darker pieces as furniture accents.
