I actually think it's fine. The only thing I would do is remove the little storage unit next to the toilet - it's making everything feel crowded. If that's where you store towels, find another place outside of the bathroom. With that gone the room will feel (and be) much more spacious.

Bring in some color. You don't have to go with brown, beige or gray towels. Go for coral to give your room some interest.

Looks like you have a pretty large gap between the counter and walls on both sides. Get a couple of pieces of your counter material if you could find them to complete the backsplash all around.

That is a very nice and inviting bathroom! I agree with Rapp, and Leelee's suggestions will add extra flair that can change with the seasons, current trends or your mood.
