Kitchen cabinets -stain or paint white?

New light yellow, white and brown quartzite counters dark stained island. Would you stain cabinets to match island or paint white. Saltillo tile floors will be re-finished too. Ceiling to floor Windows on opposite end of kitchen. Trying to attach photo.

10 years agoEither would look lovely, and with all those windows, you don't really have to worry about your kitchen feeling dark. Depends a bit, too, on whether you have a solid bank of cabinets somewhere (like a lot of full-height pantry) or mostly broken up by your light counters. Plus, then a creamy backsplash is an easy choice.
