Lara- Thanks for your compliments on our house in Mill Valley/ and suggestion...but just the clear some things as one can't believe everything you read on line (interviewer sadly misstated a few things) :)
Lara- Nothing was ripped out of the house...all windows and doors are the same, they were just painted. We kept the floors, just stained them...all was true to the house except a wall that was taken down to have an open floor plan. Believe me, we are in the same mind frame as you about recycling! Unfortunately, not all was correctly stated in the article written...some things were misconstrued. All elements were of the home that didn't stay were recycled into other homes.
