i think in this one instance i would have to sit in them. and my hubby. he is 6', i am 5.5'. Makes a big dif. I am even willing to get 2 different ones and just cover each the same.

So true! Our sectional in the family room is way too deep for me. I always have to put a couple throw pillows behind me. I think it's more comfortable for him to have the seat less deep than he'd like than the other way around. Thanks for reminding me of this consideration.

We bought two Pine Point swivel rockers from LL Bean for our lake house falling in love with them at the store, so soft, so comfy. People who sit in them love them...and the rock and swivel. I'd send you pictures but they have "surefit" (an oxymoron if ever there was one) slipcovers on them temporarily while the house is being constructed but you can check them out on LL Bean's website, kind of bulky, but hubby and i went for comfort for our future retirement home.

Or how about the guys who do recliners? that was one of the most comfortable recliners we ever had, you must forgive me, I am on heavy oxygen and even though the name is right there! I cannot get it. And i know this is going to sound wild, never discount anybody, I have like a miniature recliner where the back folds into the seat. I got it about 8 years ago, it was needed in a hurry, from walmart for my mom. Turns out it was a test model. It still works great! My mom uses it everytime she visits.
