Your Shotcrete (dry or wet) takes 28 days it reach it's initial strength. In that 28 days of curing your concrete is hydrating and flexing. The Tile Contractors of America recommend to wait 28 days before installing tile. Some tile manufactures will allow you to set tile after 14 days if you use a high grade thin set and a membrane that traps the moisture that is trying to leave the concrete so it can still cure properly. You could also use a curing agent that is water based to spray on the shell to be able to set that tile after 14 days.

Less than a week would not be near enough time for the concrete to cure.

After setting the tile you are not allowed to fill the pool with water and submerge the thin set for 21 days. Also make sure that the thin set your builder uses actually says it's rated for submersion in their literature.

Follow the tile manufactures recommendations for installation. Especially glass.

I make it a priority to give the pool at least 5 days after gunite before going to the tile and coping phase. The gunite will continue to cure even after t&c is installed. I know builders who do tile and coping quicker than 5 days, but I personally don't and my contractors don't recommend it either
