There's a fairly handy tool for viewing what a sample kitchen might look like with and without a backsplash.

It's a pretty powerful visualizer tool, so there's a bunch more stuff there, but backsplashes are one option you can add and remove at your desire to see how the different stones and colors looks.

Check it out, I use it to play around with potential looks that come across my mind.
