refrigerator advice

Looking for a counter-depth fridge... reliable and quiet. Features don't really matter. But my research in stores and online is not very encouraging (and there are not many on display in stores. I am getting discouraged.

From what I have found thus far:

GE is allegedly noisy,

LG has lots of really wide (gallon size) door bins, and narrow main shelves (seems like stuff will slosh all over when you open the doors),

Samsung is supposed to have terrible customer service,
and Whirlpool/Maytag/KitchenAid seem a bit less well finished.

Any comments/advice?

Fisher and paykel? I really liked their fridge. I ended up buying a whirlpool and did not go counter depth, and yes, it does stick out. But I like the fridge...

Our 42" GE Monogram is holding up fine. New in 2001. It was noisy for about the first six months, then 'something' changed, and it's been quiet ever since. This has water/ice in the door. I have never had a problem with a GE icemaker in 40 years of owning them.

I got a Liebherr CS1200. It's tiny compared to regular fridges, but it works well for me and it is vey quiet, except when the motor starts up for the first minute or so.

I have an Electrolux counter depth refrigerator and have been happy with it. Just shy of 3 yrs old. Quiet and reliable thus far.
