Moya Living Portfolio · More Info

Polls on Houzz are used for all kinds of things. Some Houzzers create polls to help decide on aspects of their remodels, some polls are posted by our editorial team as research for stories that later appear on Houzz. Some (like this one) are just for fun. Have you ever voted in one? (Not counting this one.)

VOTE and tell us which one was your favorite!

Yes I have!
No I haven't

It's a huge marketing tool. One question takes zero time unless you comment and Houzz gathers valuable info. Why not? It keeps them writing about what people respond to and are interested in.

Think i'll just go have a little lie down ...

I just ignore them for the most part.

I for one LOVE the polls... gives me a chance to spew some of my nonsense;)

Margo - I thought you did that anyway ! lol (said with love)

i love putting my tongue in my cheek and voting 'no, i've never voted in a poll'.

i think polls are great, although i do prefer when the sponsor of the poll is identified. i was sort of annoyed to discover that the wsj said they sponsored a particular one at houzz, and it was not identified as such here.

polls are good for drawing in people too shy to post.

    Yes and I love them....

most disliked home chore - mine is DEFINITELY ironing I simply don't do it.

Seriously? As mentioned...things must be slow...

… another little lie down i think ...

I too love, love love polls. Nobody ever asks for my opinion on anything ever. It gives me a chance to say something and not have to worry about a blank stare and a "So who asked you?"
    :)

Oh my... Roxsol.....! That is a sad comment... Please assert yourself and get some respect from the people near you! Everybody is entitled to an opinion so don't be afraid to give yours......!!!!!!!!

ah roxsy, i will always listen?

Why thank you havingfun and ithad2bu! I will voice my opinion loud and strong from now on. (I love your name ithad2bu!..I now have Tony Bennett singing in my head). :)

Thank you Roxsol.... I love that song......

Ya gotta vote to see the results! :)

Too many favorites to name... but the ones that generate lots of responses are funnest, usually. Toilet paper comes to mind. :)

The only answer to this is yes. You can't answer no because if you answer at all, you HAVE voted in a poll.

I miss the decorating dilemmas, and always wonder why it continues to say see what other Houzzers are doing... when all it is is polls now.

    Houzz has jumped the shark.

Anyone who voted "NO" lied, because they just did!

lara are you going to strictly dilemmas? I tend to totally miss the polls, cause i go in dilemmas only.

Just too many choices to make and now we have more, but we'll end up with a smashing combination of three to best suit our home.
    1. 1/2 of the whole second floor is a Mastersuite,

    2. walk through pillars with balasters (exposed) into the Study and sitting room

    3. then the grand entrance into a most unusal bath with a full wall of shelving and cabinetry for the wardrobe.

    4. Victorian accents, fainting sofa, and a mutitude of antique accessories merged into a heated floor shower and entrance elevated to save the joists. 12 shower heads including 2 rain fall, a walk down area that creates a mini tub to soak all in in special arrangement.

    5. Separate staircase to the area which use to be a doctor's waiting room and treatment area. each 1/2 the width of the home.

    6. Waiting room will become a music training studio.

Also working with the City of Sesser and their Opera house for musical productions and Music Scholarships for Rend Lake College Music Students.

Offering positive reinforcement for musically inclined student and local talent.

havingfun, like I said before...following along, following along and then all of a sudden..whammo...I'm totally lost! Ha!

Good, then at least we have each other. If there are two of us we can't be crazy. Unless, you don't think you can get mass hysteria or whatever via the internet do you? lol

You do know the person says they are a doctor right? hmmmm.

maybe we should get fainting sofas?

Boy spent like an hour finding this, how can something so common place, be so hard to find?

    A doctor you say?

    I like that one!

I love these polls. Maybe I spend too much time on my own. I have a good poll question: Have you ever had house-buyers' remorse?

entire businesses (mine) are made out of polling...especially if it's fun & beautiful - Yopine Image Based Polling & Brainstorming

I did vote on a poll, but then had to go in and delete it because my email in box was loading up with everyone else's response. NOT GOOD! That needs to be eliminated cuz i'll never comment again for this reason. In fact, I may have to delete this post if I start receiving emails again. PLEASE TAKE NOTE!

HI Magada, lol, I can't tell if you are surprised I am being helpful, or if you are thinking I am being sarcastic with my last remark? Regardless, it is all good;)

Margo, i wouldn't dream; even dare think of you being the slightest bit sarcastic ( i'm maybe also wary of getting a leg lamp or a moose head thrown at me too ;p )
