Using a screen as a headboard

I love the use of a flat screen as a headboard, and wondered if you had taken any special precautions to protect it, anchor it, etc.? I have a similar screen with carved soapstone figures that would be gorgeous as a re-purposed headboard--I'd love to protect it though! Thanks so much.

We didn't take special precautions because the screen extends all the way to the floor, so the bed acts like an anchor, pushing it against the wall. We secure other headboards (custom ones that need to be hung) by putting picture hangers on the back and hanging it. For more support, we may secure the legs to the wall too.
