GOTM- -December-Tammy

My favorite month December because of Christmas I decorate my whole house/yard each year.

My favorite season is spring because of new beginnings and everything starts to grow and bloom.

My garden Themes: (on my 26 acre self made woman jungle..lol!)

Gemstone Garden (seeds,rocks,)
Veggie Garden (seeds)
Patiotic Garden (seeds)
Dutch garden (bulbs)
Texas garden (seeds,bulbs, rocks)
Ladybug & Frog Garden (rocks and décor)

Things I like lots of seeds: any type but rare and the unusual as I like challenges to see what will grow!
Gloves, Garden Flags, Calendars, Planners, Seed packs, Labels, Ladybug decor, frogs, decorative pots, solar lights, garden statues, painted rocks, petified wood, hanging planters, wind chimes, Cookbooks from different towns, Texas theme Decor bathroom, Western theme decor living room, and ladybug decor in kitchen, stuff for my hummingbirds (like different feeders), Sterling Silver Jewelry, I like to crochet in the winter. I enjoy canning during the summer. I make lots of Lipton sun tea as it is so hot during the summer here! I enjoy my cricut for scrap booking my Gbabies. I have a Blue and Gold Macaw parrot named Harley who thinks he is the center of attention until my 2 Gbabies come to visit. Just a easy to please country girl! Lol!

Really though I like just about anything so don't make it hard on yourself. Oh, and I live in zone 7. Hope this is helpful.

Everyone have a beautiful day!

December is here already! Tammy, do you have any specific seeds or plants that you're looking to add to your collection? 26 acres? I'm impressed. I have a measly acre that I have trouble getting a handle on!

I tried to upload a picture with my post above but it wouldn't let me so I am trying again.

Here is the ladybug flag it didn't show in the post above from Laura. Thanks again!

Glad it arrived safely. The one plant is Homalocladium platycladum -tapeworm plant. My penmanship has gotten horrid as of late. I have mine in a container - to contain- and definitely gets interest. Second soap is lye Lavender Buds..not sure where the label disappeared. Glad you liked the card, I'm designing a line in the next couple months, think they will be successful. Laura

I will be sure to look that plant up as i have never heard of it. The soap smelled wonderful can't want to use it. Yes the card was very unique and I think you are on to something. I wish you the best of success with them.

Just tracked my package.. it was supposed to be delivered on MONDAY. Hmm, Looked at the DC- it was out for delivery this AM, I guess it was returned to the PO, it's available for pickup today. Priority is running very slowly! And being returned to the PO also. ;( I hope the 'live' stuff is ok. We have been in the 60's/50's lately for 2 weeks. Today was 63* so nice for winter. :)

I grew the amaryllis from seed... It's about 3 years old. They grow sooo slow, it should bloom this year. It takes 2 years for them to mature. It's still sort of small its a hybrid with 2 amaryllis mixed. So, who knows what you'll get. I hope its ok. It's ready to go- just plant it in soil and it should re-sprout! It's been really pampered up until now. Lots of roots, and sooo healthy! :) Just have soil and a pot ready.

Ok, kind of wondering if my box arrived? I mailed it on the 17th/2 day priority (on the receipt) the box was supposed to be delivered on Monday- 12/21. Hmm? Checked the DC- it's at the Post office since the 23rd, ready for pickup. I did put some live plants in there, so kind of worried.. :( They have been in the box for awhile/10 days.. Hopefully, the box was picked up, or re-delivered and the PO didn't update. Anyways.. Not sure how long the PO will keep a box before returning it? It was a flat rate $12.65 box. It's the kind that can fit in a mail box if they force it. Anyway, hope it arrives soon.. Or you already have it.

Deb I am so hopeing I get it tomorrow I went last Wednesday and the lady looked at the tracking number but she couldn't find the box there. She said they were way behind on sorting but I told her well how is it out for delivery if y'all didn't scan it in it has to be there. I think she was new as she kept asking the other gentleman where to find this and that. I am going first thing in the morning so hopefully if not I am gonna talk to the postmaster..

I'm so glad the box arrived- or you picked it up! I can't believe the plants are alive! Such a long time in a 2 day priority priced box! The Amaryllis bulb should be fine. It wanted to grow on (good sized/green leaves)- and it's time for it to bloom, so I stunted the growth/cut the green.) I started it from seed (a plantswap friend sent me seeds/Stacy, and I took a chance and planted them- she crossed 2 different Amaryllis!) So I'll be so happy to see what it turns out to be! Hopefully, something really special. I sure babied the bulb! It should resprout as soon as you replant it, in a really good soil! :) I love the Neon- my favorite trailing plant! Love the color- I paid $50 for it from a local greenhouse. It was really popular a few years ago, in the Chicago area. Now, it's a little more common. The Hoya- I love it, you can't kill a hoya, LOL! It should vine nicely- and bloom! Wow, I still can't believe they made it! SOOOO glad! Seeds- I have too many plant friends, they send me too many seeds LOL! I'll never be able to grow a fraction of what I'm sent. :)

Deb yes they were alive my daughter is coming over tonight maybe she can figure out what I have done as I can't post pictures anymore. Who knows! I get on this thing and its like playing the lotto sometimes I get it to do and sometimes not. I need to buy a new computer as this one is so old I think it is vista or something like that.

We have received 14.5 inches of snow so every place including the post office has been closed for several days as they couldn't get mail trucks from Lubbock monday or tuesday so I was a very happy gardener when I called this morning and they were open. took 2 hrs to go the 18 miles to town but I was going to get my boxes..Lol! my husband still thinks I am crazy for going to town in this weather. You can't imagine how it excited i was when I opened my box and they were alive and the paper still moist. I had a foam coffee cup in the car and a bottle of water so I gave them a drink before we left the parking lot. Call me crazy but it has been quite the adventure today. Seeds I can't ever have enough my husband thinks I am crazy with them too as I make him come look when something sprouts..LOL!

My daughter finally got it to post and it was something in my settings that was causing it with the ad blocker. So glad to finally be able to post pics again.
