Agree with #5--and keep it simple. A horizontal offset pattern in the whole kitchen, no herringbone, inset over the stove, etc. to allow the granite to be the focal point.

agree with the clamor for #5. my second choice would be #4, which is the only one of the tans that really matches the stone tonally (1 and 3 are too yellow and 2 is too blue/gray). it would give nice contrast, but might compete with your beautiful stone. so I'd keep it simple and light.

If you go with 5 it's going to look like a near miss. I recommend something that will contrast the stone like number 2

Ok, I'll be the maverick! I really like what you have listed as #2 in the first photo; that gray tone is very apparent in the counter top and, since it's a cooler color it calms the warmer tones in the cabinetry.

@Stitt Energy Systems, it's really difficult to make a judgement on color by looking at a computer monitor. The colors of the granite and tiles could have totally different hues, tones, tints, shades, and saturation levels depending on your monitor's settings. Also, the lighting in the room will affect your perception of the color as well.
