Wasn't sure where to post this, but since it was around my sliding glass door, I figured this would be the place.

I was putting up hardware for my drapes and in one spot I just couldn't get the self-drilling anchor bolts to go in. I got my drill and drilled... it was definitely wallboard, but it was harder than the other dry wall around the window and much thicker. In the end I could only get one anchor bolt installed in it.

1) What the heck kind of drywall would be so thick and tough?

2) What can I use to anchor my drapery hook? A regular screw won't work and these self-drilling anchor bolts aren't doing well.
