Hmmmmmmmmmmm....I've never used an extender with Aura. If you're tempted, use BM extender and don't be tempted to paint slow because it's not going to buy you much time. Keep out of the wet edge after 30 seconds. Even with an extender Aura will not tolerate over brushing or back brushing after 30 seconds.

If you can paint your nails, you can paint with Aura. No extender needed IMO.

If you do use an extender ONLY use the 518.

Aura works best between 50F & 70F. The cooler the better since it extends the drying time, which gives it more time to level.

I have found that the Aura does not dry any faster than the Regal. If you can paint with Regal, you can paint with Aura.

All the newer low VOC paints dry fast. I used BM's extender with Aura and would never go back. It still dries too fast but does give you more time. Higher humidity helps to extend the time also. It's tough. On the learning curve, if I don't like the outcome on a wall, I sand it down and do another coat. My (previously horrid) walls look like butter :-) But it is tough getting through it!
