Posting on this forum won't help you. Look under your profile and turn off as many notifications as you can. I agree it is very hard to get all e-mails from houzz to stop - I also have turned off notifications but still some get through. Maybe look for contact info to e-mail Houzz directly. The "do not contact" list is a Do Not CALL list - it does not apply to e-mails, just phone calls. You might also be able to change your e-mail settings to filter all houzz e-mails to your junk/spam folder, if all else fails.

Edited to add, I just went into my profile, into "Advanced Settings", and found that a number of notifications were turned on (I could swear I've turned them off before). Start there - uncheck all notifications, and change "send me an e-mail when ..." to "Never" for all options. It is absurd that Houzz makes you do each one individually. Then choose update settings or save - can't recall which - at the bottom. If all else fails, you can deactivate your account on the same page.

I do wish Houzz were more user friendly in this respect. By the way these options are what I see on line, you may see something different on your phone or tablet. Good luck.

Hi I am a new business owner looking for advertisement possibilities somehow I got connected with this company and was on a free trial of some sort which I never used so when I seen a $65 charge on my credit card I called them immediately to have it corrected and get a refund of my money and they never use their service and was told that a different department handles that that they would be giving me a call later on that day well I waited all day night no call back the nexnex department and that I would be getting a call never received call so I figured they handled it well I seen charge next month so I call them and same script itits got to be transferred to another dept so I get tired of that and tell her idk who needs to cancel sub and refund my money but it needs to be done asap she said she will add a note of situation and get it handled well it's been 5 months $364 later and my account keeps getting hit so I call once again and am told the same script but this time the girl was more helpful and told me why I was never contacted and she said they responded via email witch I was told a call not email anyways long story short she tried to get me over to other dept but can't until 7 days later 7 days really you have that many people going through the same exact thing dealing with this company that's horrible I've signed up for a sub before and I called them and asked to be canceled and refunded and money was there days later but for some reason with them it's like pulling teeth so just watch yourself before before doing any trialtrial.

Houzz Pro is a scam. There is no benefits that will help grow your client base. They charge a large amount of money for a small advertising region. There is no way to cancel you subscription and your on file card can never be removed. Currently there is over 500 complaints with the Better Business Bureau. Suggest, don't even view this website. They will find a way to constantly bill you. Very shady business practices.

For us, Houzz Pro was completely useless. I can just kick myself for having signed up for it. But what I find so annoying is that the contract will automatically renew unless you give Houzz 30 day notice before the termination date. To me, that is a fraudulent type of business practice. Why 30 days? And you cannot just cancel. You have to contact your rep and find a time to get on the phone. I will never sign up for Houzz again. I would never recommend it to anyone.

signed up for the Pro Trial- immediately realized I made a mistake. Called and spoke with 5 different people who were unable to find my account and promised me I would not be billed after the 30 day trial ended because I had not completed the PRO profile. This is incorrect information. Could not find a way to cancel the trial. Waited 24 hours and was able to log in, searched the dashboard and cxl subscription. Received an email confirming this. Demanded they scrub my cc- this has been escalated to Legal. The people on the phone are useless. I think they exist to dupe and provide incorrect information to customers. Also took 3 times for them to provide the assigned case number.

UPDATE: If you have a trial subscription to PRO, calling and emailing is not enough. They will try to keep you as a customer until it's too late to cancel. Log in, go to the account dashboard and you can cancel there. I did this and immediately received an email saying my subscription was cancelled. Then I called and told them to remove my cc. After 4 days I received an email saying it was. I have all the emails, names and confirmations so if they attempt to bill me after the 30 days I have proof. Also, get a case number.

Agree! I tried to cancel the free trial the day before it was going to automatically start a subscription. The website would not allow me to cancel. It kept getting hung up. I was finally able to cancel the next day but they had already charged my card. I called and explained the situation and they refused to refund my money. I have called several times and have gotten nowhere. Customer service is terrible. I'm going tto call everyday until they refund my money and may get my attorney involved. Ridiculous!

Common thread here. I am too a victim of being unable to cancel and guess what, renewed through 2025. If anyone at Houzz is monitoring this, especially your legal department, you may want to pay attention. I am fed up! The classic part is they have online instructions on how to cancel your account through your online account and the button they reference doesn't exist, nor can you delete a payment credit card which I do believe is not legal. Held hostage by something I promoted for years!
