go to a gray or cream. though i dont hate the blue.

It may just be your overhead lighting to blame. In the photo were the under cabinet lights shine on your new tile they look fine. Or is that just in the photo? Try changing out your overhead lights to a different type of bulb and brighter. Is it incandescent, halogen or led? You are doing a great job so far, are you installing yourself?

Since you already have some up on the wall, I would try grouting it and see if that makes a difference. A lot of the time the grout will darken up the appearance of the glass and then it may not reflect back as much of the blue hue that you're seeing.

I had the same problem with my white glass tiles. It is not any light reflecting on it, it's a function of the adhesive and the white paint (which has a hint of blue in it). When the adhesive blends with the white paint, it brings out an ever so slight blue color. I ended up putting under cabinet LED strip lights that come in different colors. I embraced the blue and put up some decor that is blue and I love it now!
