Doesn't the tub get wet from the shower & need to be dried?

    Yes it gets wet, and I suppose you can towel dry it if you feel it to be necessary. Its referred to as a "wet bath". Intended to get wet. Look at it as a third, short wall. A lot of designers are designing oversized showers and actually placing the soaking tub inside the space. A wetroom

    I really don't understand the half-glass walls. The water will get out onto the floor outside the shower area, and will run down the top of the tub and get the floor even wetter, won't it? Or is there a drain out there that we can't see? I really like the look but don't see them as actually working very well.

    Are there any code issues with keeping the shower water out of the rest of the bathroom? Contractor seems convinced we won't pass inspection unless there is a door in our opening, although I prefer to keep it open. We are in CA.

    Call your local inspector. They are usually available for conversation first thing in the morning. Typically unavailable when they are out in the field

    this bathroom design is awesome ,,i find it simple and functional,,elegant bt not overstated ,ive had these complete set of vanities including a tub stock for 8 long years ,i jst culdnt think nor hav seen any bathroom design that fits my taste ,,bt now the long wait is over , not until ive seen your design ,,thnks for sharing your ideas .
