I think the walls are too dark which makes the room appear smaller.

You could add light blue drapes and tall lamps with light blue lamp shades along with some other colorful accessories.

Consider some sun catchers for the windows.

Look for pictures of flowers and/or nature scenes for the walls, enabling you to add any colors you like to your room.

Consider some "traditional" throw pillows, especially bright cheerful throw pillows with only a bit of the same shade of blue but also with other colors, too -- preferably some with bright red.

The only issue I see with the bold chairs is they will lock you into a color design whereas keeping the main items in a room neutral will allow you to alter the vibe of the room.

I like your windows without curtains. If your shades provide the privacy and light control you need, you might save on this expense and embrace the attractive woodwork and clean lines. Love your colors and furnishings.

The color orange is very bold, great in the room, but agree with lucidos that it will be a color that you will be stuck with. With the more neutral and I consider blue to be pretty neutral and still add color, then you can go in more directions with changing colors in the future. The drapes are just a matter of personal preference. Either way the room will look good.

If you want a bit of orange

I'd like to see something more exciting on the floor. The current rug is boring and bath-ish looking, IMO. Dark and rich, but with subtle pattern would be good. Then pick chair colors from the colors in the rug.

Nice. If you buy the chair and want to bring in the navy accent color, you might look for an ottoman in navy and add navy for accent pillows. It would look great with both the white and gray. And still throw in some orange pillows.

Have you entertained guests in this room already? How did people sit? Usually no one wants to sit in the "crack' between cushions as on your large sofa, so that should seat two. Love seats put people in too close proximity, as they usually will leave one seat's space between them so they can turn and face each other while conversing. That means the loveseat may not seat two. A 1.5 chair is for one person or 2 kids who are disciplined enough not to be rowdy. Two standard chairs are your best bet here.

Big art on the wall behind the sofa will unify your room.
