What shape were the cabinets in before?`

The cabinets are beautiful-I'm guessing they date late 70's, as they look exactly like my 1978 cabinets. I was not able to save my cabinets-the boxes were falling apart. I am curious if the cabinets in this project have to be restored in any way or were they in good shape to begin with?

Hi, Pleballerina! The cabinets were in great shape...just outdated and the finish was yellowed. The client saved a lot of money not having to replace the cabinets.

We did de-glaze them and gel stain them down to the rich walnut color you see.
