I love a painted ceiling, but when I've done it, I've used a lighter shade of the wall color on the ceiling. I've never gone that dark.

On my monitor, the darker green clashes with your sofa.

I like the lighter option, but I'd go more sage and less yellow.

Personal choice as either works but I love the Peridot shade. Its unexpected and looks stunning with the blue and white chintz, provides a nice monochromatic compliment to the sofa and appearss to brighten up your stained glass. Of course this is subjective due to AI. Hunter green is always lovely and can stand the test of time but On my monitor the dark green in your image has slightly too much teal/blue in it which makes it feel slightly "off" , which may just be the way its coming up on my screen. but a nice hunter green like Farrow and Ball Beverly would also be stunning. The dark green is much more a Ralph Lauren vibe.

I think the lighter green is more impactful. Beautiful!
