How to complete the living room!...

Following other example and seeing nice feedback here I'm with my furnishing suggestion request! :)

The point: I have half furnished the living room and I need to complete it.

The room is something around 8x4 meters but not regular. Attached some photos to show what I'm talking of (sorry for a little mess near fireplace and on the temporary table in one of the sofa/armchair corner).

I was thinking to complete with:
1. a bigger carpet still rectangular, just going under the armchair and sofa
2. a little square table in the corner where now there is a bigger one with brown table cloth, with two layers with an abat jour on top and on the bottom the black stereo equipment (now hidden)
3. some pictures or shelves on the wall of the piano (maybe some composition with closed open elements)
4. a little rectangular table with two layers (maybe coordinated with the squared one maybe not) in front of the sofa to keep the big amount of magazines we have on the bottom layer and clean on the top

Anyway I'm not able to find exact piece and arrangments...

What do you think about it?

Note that I have more guitars (electric and acustic) and other instruments if needed! ;)...

Try angling the sofa on corner Place rug half way under and expose the rest. You not necessarily need to have everything come off the wall. Placing a larger more colorful rug halfway under sofa will anchor the sofa

Better yet. U need a large area rug to tie it all in and bring the 2 end chairs in closer

Hi,
I'm thinking that you need another accent colour to bring the room together and give it some warmth. A colour that goes towards the colour of your floor tiles would do that. You can add a couple of cushions and perhaps a throw to the sofa and chairs. Also a bigger rug would be good.

And... I could be wrong, but it seems to me that you could change the living room and dining room around. Judging from the photos it looks like you could turn the dining room table around 1/4 and move it to where your sitting room is now. And then place the sofa under the windows with the two chairs in an angle somewhere near the sofa? It seems to make more sense to have the sitting room around the fireplace?

Also, you could add some nice artwork, perhaps related to music, to your walls. I'm pretty sure you can find some funky stuff on Etsy.com. I'll make you a mood board on pinterest. It will be fun to do and perhaps it will give you some ideas. I'll be back later with the link :-)

Perhaps it will give you some ideas. Even if only about which way you don't want to go with your living room :-) I had to guess the colour of your walls and hope I've used the right colour green.
