I like the dark better. The lighter color seems too close to the color of the floor and appliances. I think some contact will look better.

I prefer the lighter.

Personally I'd go with stainless steel. I think it reads cleaner, compliment appliances, adds reflective light too. If you go dark, make sure to introduce elements that support it. You don't want just one hit of dark. Of the two, I prefer the lighter. Keep us updated.

I vote for the lighter one. It will match the tile and it will last longer from a neutrality standpoint. You can always add more contrast to the room with temporary items- baskets, wall art, rugs etc. Plus the lighter one won't show the lint/dust as much.

I love them both, but for contrast with the floor you'd be better off with the darker one. It will balance the room with three different but complementary tones, which is a satisfying visual effect.

The lighter one feels a bit flat and a little too "matchy" with the floor and the washer and dryer. I think the darker one would help add a little more dimension to the space while still keeping it neutral.

I say lighter as well but you have to live with it not myself so whatever makes you happy

I agree with the darker crowd. However, since it's a laundry room and I'm assuming not open to the rest of the house, you could save a lot of money by using a similar color laminate.

darker! if everything is light, it will all float away! Grounding with the dark is a good choice

my laundry area has a fine coat of lint everywhere. if you plan to not have things stored on the counter and can dust to the back corners twice a week, dark looks great. otherwise, i'd go lighter.
