Tell us the differences between Kokedama and moss baskets. Is it just the soil mix?

Well it is a moss ball, but it's not a basket. You get to make mudpies first. So I combined some potting soil, bonsai soil, and clay from my yard into a ball. Then insert the plant and some sphagnum moss (to help retain water) in the center of the ball. You compress. Then start to apply the moss in sections around it and wrap, wrap, wrap with twine.
