Backplash tiles

Is the backsplash, white marble mosaic tiles or mother-of-pearl mosaic? I cannot make it out from the pics. I will really appreciate if anyone can provide the information. Love this kitchen and how beautifully everything element of design comes together here. The designer is an artist.
