Guess I need to get in the habit of "if your fingers are going under the sewing area and needle ..... turn off the machine, dummy!"

This injury was not done guiding fabric under the machine, but rather fiddling with the thread while I wasn't even sewing. Somehow I pricked my finger on the needle, panicked, then heat the foot pedal with my foot before I could get my finger out of the way of the needle. Now that I think on it, the accident could have been a lot worse.

Yikes! Be careful.
