Did you backlight the marble or not?

Does the marble color pop on its own or is it backlit?

    We didn't backlight the onyx, it is only lit from the front in this photo. We are working on some other projects right now where we are backlighting large slabs like this, but this one wasn't done with any backlighting. Thx.

    It really depends on your budget and the dimensions you have behind the slab. If you have a little space, something like Lumi-Sheet or CoolEdge provides a great option that's nearly flat, but pricey. If you have more space, you could use a few rows of LED tapelight spaced appropriately for the depth of the cavity. The best way to know how it's going to look is to mock it up. good Luck!
