I had no idea there were than many kinds of Four O'Clocks. Wow. Thank you for sharing. I'm in the newbie category. I have pink four o'clock flowers. That's all I can tell you--miribalis jilapas. If you ask me what kind of car I drive I'd tell you white--it's the blond answer! ha

One year my mom planted four o'clocks and we saved just the red seed and replanted them. We got mostly red the next year, but fewer plants. We always dreamed of a wide field of red four o'clocks! I know what you mean of a mama's flower memory garden! Heidi

My Mom collected them as we moved across the US on military assignments. She loved them so much. I still have some of her basic varieties seeds. Hoping I have make this garden happen sometime soon. :-)

Alplains has M. alipes. For anyone not familiar with Alplains, it's a great source for some really rare seeds.

Second kms4me's recommendation for Alplains. The 2016 supplement catalog just arrived (last time for a printed catalog), and Alan's talking about retiring someday. Nearly everything on my wishlist is from the Alplains catalog, so I'd better send him an order as often as I can :)
