Persil Proclean

Finally broke down and bought a bottle of the Persil Proclean Original detergent. Not sure I can see any difference between it and Tide HE but the fragrance sure does hang on. Came through the washer AND the dryer. Anybody have a suggestion on what type of load it's best used for?

I have the Persil 2 in 1 original scent. .. I have found dosing is very important with this stuff even in a full fill top loader. It does a fantastic job cleaning for me but the scent will hang around. Do you have a TL or FL..you could try adding just a small amount at a time just till the waters slippery. I usually only use mine on really dirty stinky loads and I never follow the dosing directions. Personally I think as far as the scent goes it leaves less scent on really dirty loads.

Pretty much what I figured. Hold it for the dirty, stinky loads. The smell doesn't bother me. I was just surprised at its longevity. I use a FL and adjust the detergent usage by size, soil and type of load. The washer already weighs the load.

At first the scent bothered me to the point of gaging ..but at some point I developed a liking for it. If I dose it properly it just leaves a fresh clean scent for me. I don't know about the regular strength but the 2 in 1 cleans exceptionally well for me..it must have done the same for CR since it won their testing, beating out Tide.

    It is V E R Y sudsy, I so agree sshrivastava!!

I like the scent (but it is much longer lasting than most other detergents). I find the 2in1 ProClean to smell basically the same as Euro Persil. I do not like to use liquids, as Miele always recommends powders...but I like using Persil ProClean on workout clothes. The scent is very clean, herbal and almost masculine.

I went through a couple of jugs of this stuff. Not sure what I would say about the scent. I guess it is nice, but not masculine by my standards. In the end, the thrill is gone and I am back to Tide HE Turbo, less suds and easier to acquire.

Last March when Persil made its debut at Walmart my son showed up with 4 of the huge spouted jugs of the 4 in1...a few days ago he brought me another one. First time I used it on a load of sheets that get changed every four or five days I must have overdosed critically, I had a hard time getting a clean rinse and the scent gaged me, I hated it. I've sinced learned it's tricky dosing with this stuff and for me it works best in full heavily soiled loads..I've also come to not mind the scent and even like it. It will for sure clean well.

Someone bought me a huge jug. I don't mind the scent. But it's industrial strength for me so only for the dirtiest.
