This reminds me of a color consultation we did for a homeowner who was trying to pair a warm wall color with cool gray cabinetry. Looking at your photo, Edgecomb Gray appears to work nicely with your gray laundry cabinets because it's a warm greige rather than a cool gray. It also looks like your cabinets have a deeper charcoal tone, which gives the room some nice depth while allowing the walls to stay light and inviting.

The one thing I'd recommend is viewing the sample at different times of day. Edgecomb Gray can shift depending on the lighting - it may appear warmer in natural daylight and a little more muted in the evening. Looking at it in morning, afternoon, and nighttime lighting will give you a much better idea of how it will feel once the entire room is painted.
